"I have always been in a fat body. The experience of growing up as a Fat, Black, Woman was NOT an easy one. I endured years of bullying, mistreatment, verbal abuse, physical violence, and more simply because the world thinks that fat bodies are not worthy of respect. It took me decades to stop waiting for the world to give me respect and to begin cultivating it within MYSELF. I began to honor my own body, to nourish my own being, and to design a lifestyle that allowed me to flourish DESPITE the fact that society tried to destroy my power. So, as #FatWomenOfColor our revolution is the audacity to be OURSELVES. No matter what size, shape, or body type we are, we deserve to take up space in the world. Dare to #BeYouMore and know that you are #NeverTooMuchAlwaysEnough "
