After, Jesus empowered the disciples he leaves them with very interesting instructions "Take nothing for the journey- no staff, no bag, no bread, no money and no extra tunic (Luke 9:3)." Jesus GIVES to them, and then says take NOTHING. I believe that Jesus teaches the disciples and us, the value in subtraction. He leaves us with the lesson; everything that is added to our life, doesn't always increase in our life. He shows us that our worth is not found in what we accumulate, but was there we created. God stamped our purpose with his divine fingerprints before we even found the security of our mother's womb. When stripped down to your core, you will find God has deemed you worthy. The state of being unsatisfied comes from living life measuring off of what you see, rather than trusting the divine that's within. Stop try to take and depend of what God has given you. Godly additions may require life subtractions.
