What are your neuro-associations?
As humans (animals), we are programmed to do all we can to survive. Our brain will associate pain with anything we think will harm us or be negative. Unfortunately, in the modern world, we use this to prevent us from doing things that are good for us. GOOD NEWS is you can CHANGE your neuro-associations.
Example - you don't go to the gym because you associate going to the gym with anything negative (time it takes, the pain of being soar, embarrassment because you think you'll look like you don't know what you're doing, ashamed that you've let yourself slide so far and don't want to remind yourself, etc., etc., etc.). FIX - start focusing on the pain associated with NOT doing it! Will you live a shorter life? Will you miss your grandchildren because of that? Will you be in a wheelchair at a young age? Will you not be able to do fun things later in life? Etc. find what works for YOU and focus on it HARD! Visualize the pain associated with NOT working out, or doing that project you've been procrastinating, or practicing the guitar you love so much, or apologizing to your mate, etc etc.
