Wow! I put this book down a couple years ago. I finished the story, but didn't get around to editing. I put it on the shelf as another idea for a series gripped my writer's heart and imagination, and characters that demanded my attention. In doing so, I believe it is my best work to date. It occurred to me I had some unfinished business to take care of and owed my beautiful town of Busby a chance to shake the dust off and get some sun light and cause a few tongues to wag and breath to be caught in the throats and people shaking their heads, saying: "No. She. Did. Not!" 😂 Oh! Yes. I. Did! And it feels Sooo good! Lol 🙈🙉🙊 #thedevilsaftermeis the fifth book in The Busby series. My fictional town in South Carolina, based on my Summers in South Carolina with my Grams and Great-Great Grams.
